Bloom & Thrive was created with the health and wellness of women and children at the core of its mission.
Bloom & Thrive Women and Children's Corporation is a nonprofit organization based in NY. We aim to bridge the health and racial disparity gap among women and children of color and low socioeconomic status. We aim to educate vulnerable populations through prenatal and postpartum education and outreach. By providing supplies such as breast pumps, baby food and baby clothes, we hope to ensure that basic necessities are supplied to those without access. Prenatal supplies such as vitamins, maternity clothes and wellness education are some of what we aim to provide for expectant mothers. As we continue to grow, additional services and supplies will be added. We prioritize women and children in poverty stricken US communities and international countries.
Meet our founder
Welcome! My name is Jeneice. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and came to the United States in 2001. I have been passionate about Women's Health for as long as I can remember. As a mother of two beautiful girls, my goal is for every mother to have what she needs to take care of herself and her child.
As an RN, I've worked in the Float Pool, Hemodialysis and OB/Maternity. Labor and delivery holds a special place in my heart. I will be pursing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Midwifery beginning fall 2022.
